As some of you may know last month I went to Iceland to work. It was my first time there, and I didn't know what to expect.. For my surprise it wasn't as cold as I thought!!
I took this first picture from the plane, nice eh?
As I went by myself I had a pretty hard time to take pictures of what I was wearing... you will see...
The main shopping street in Reykjavik called Laugavegur street (unpronounceable for me!!). I was surprised of how many vintage shops you can find, like : Nostalgia, Spútnik and Rokk og Rósir.
A picture took by someone in the street..
Una foto hecha por alguien que pasaba..
The Nordic store; where I bought all the souvenirs heheheh
The main church in Reykjavik, called Hallgrímskirkja. The church is also used as an observation tower. An observer can take a lift up to the viewing deck and view Reykjavík and the surrounding mountains.
Amazing view from the top:
Vistas magníficas desde lo alto:
Pictures taken by me with the automatic shutter. Couldn't do much as everywhere where I wanted to support my camera..
I was wearing my super Canadian Goose jacket, that's why I couldn't feel the cold haha
Some of the typical houses you can see everywhere, love the colors don't you??
I went to see the Northern Light last day, although the weather conditions were favourable, I could not see it... :( I will have to go back hehe .At the moment, I leave you with a video I found in the net.
It is such a cool picture! At 1st I thought it was a picture you took at the beach. WOW! I've never been to Iceland but it sounds cold to me =D
